Delicious 6-Inch Chocolate Biscuit Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate
- 200g butter
- 150g caster sugar
- 3 eggs
- 150g self-raising flour
- 50g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100g digestive biscuits, crushed
- 100g white chocolate, melted
- 100g dark chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas mark 4.
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water.
- Beat the sugar and eggs together until pale and fluffy. Gradually beat in the melted chocolate and butter mixture.
- Sift in the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder and fold in until just combined.
- Stir in the crushed biscuits.
- Pour the mixture into a greased and lined 6-inch round cake tin and bake for 30-35 minutes until a skewer comes out clean when inserted into the centre.
- Leave to cool in the tin for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- To decorate, drizzle over the melted white and dark chocolate.
