Learn How to Make Delicious Biscuit Cake – Step-by-Step Guide

Biscuit Cake Dikhaiye is an Indian sweet dish that is widely enjoyed during special occasions like weddings, birthdays and festivals. It is a layered cake made with biscuit crumbs and topped with cream, fruit and nuts. It is a popular dessert item in many parts of India, especially in the northern states.

Ingredients

The main ingredients for making biscuit cake dikhaiye are:

  • Biscuit crumbs – 250 gms
  • Butter – 100 gms
  • Sugar – 200 gms
  • Milk – 500 ml
  • Cream – 500 ml
  • Fruits of your choice – 100 gms
  • Nuts of your choice – 100 gms

Method of Preparation

The first step in making biscuit cake dikhaiye is to make the biscuit crumbs. To do this, take the biscuit crumbs in a food processor and grind it to a fine powder. Next, melt the butter in a pan and add the biscuit crumbs and mix well. Now, add the sugar and mix well.

Once the mixture is ready, transfer it to a greased cake tin and press it down firmly. Now, bake it in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes. Once it is done, take it out and allow it to cool.

Now, take the cream in a bowl and whip it till it forms stiff peaks. Add the milk and mix well. Take the cooled biscuit crumb base and spread the cream mixture evenly over it. Decorate it with the fruits and nuts of your choice.

Now, refrigerate the cake for a few hours or overnight. Once it is set, cut it into slices and serve. Your biscuit cake dikhaiye is now ready to be enjoyed.
