For cake:

  • 1½ cups flour (all-purpose)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 5 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of water

For the chocolate ganache:

  • ⅔ cup heavy cream
  • 5 oz. semisweet chocolate chopped
  • 1 cup raspberry for garnish


To make the cake:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 ° F, grease an 8 x 3 inch round baking dish, and line the bottom with parchment paper
  2. In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients of the cake: flour, a pinch of salt, baking soda, cocoa powder, granulated sugar
