- In a large bowl, whisk together the oil, sugars, eggs, buttermilk and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, whisking until just combined.

- 3 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar

- Pinch of salt
- 4-6 tablespoons heavy cream
Instructions
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the butter until creamy.
- Add the confectioners’ sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract and salt and beat on low speed until combined.
- Add 4 tablespoons of the cream and beat on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
- Add more cream, if needed, to reach desired consistency.
- Spread the frosting onto the cooled cake.
