Ultimate Chocolate Biscuit Cake Recipe
This is the ultimate chocolate biscuit cake recipe. It’s a simple, no-bake recipe that is sure to please everyone. With just a few ingredients and a few minutes of your time, you can whip up a delicious and indulgent chocolate biscuit cake that your family and friends will love.
Ingredients
- 1 packet of Oreo biscuits
- 200g of dark chocolate
- 150g of butter
- 2 tablespoons of golden syrup
- 200ml of double cream
- 2 tablespoons of icing sugar
- 100g of mini marshmallows
- 100g of white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Melt the butter, chocolate and golden syrup in a pan over a low heat until combined.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the double cream and icing sugar until smooth.
- In a bowl, crush the Oreo biscuits into small pieces.
- Add the crushed Oreo biscuits, marshmallows and white chocolate chips to the chocolate mixture and stir until combined.
- Line a 20cm round cake tin with greaseproof paper.
- Pour the mixture into the tin and spread it out evenly.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 3 hours until set.
- Remove from the tin and serve.
Tips
- For an extra indulgent treat, add a layer of whipped cream on top of the cake before serving.
- You can use any type of chocolate you prefer. Dark, milk or white.
- You can also use any type of biscuit you like. Digestive biscuits, gingernuts or even chocolate digestives.
- If you don’t have any double cream, you can use evaporated milk instead.
